ABOUT

  • We are looking for dedicated and compassionate volunteers to support our Elderly Engagement Call Centre. Volunteers will play a key role in strengthening our connection with seniors by reaching out to them through friendly phone calls.

    Role Purpose

    As a volunteer, you will contact elderly beneficiaries to:

    • Verify and update their personal data
    • Understand their interests and needs
    • Share information about upcoming programmes and gather feedback on their interest in participating

    Your calls will help ensure that our programmes remain relevant, meaningful, and accessible to the elderly community.

    Volunteer Requirements

    • Age: 18 years old and above
    • Language: Must be Tamil-speaking (to communicate effectively with our elderly beneficiaries)
    • Qualities: Patient, empathetic, and comfortable speaking over the phone
    • Commitment: Able to commit to calling during assigned time slots

Call Centre Volunteer
The Elderly Engagement Call Centre plays a vital role in helping us stay connected with seniors in our community. Volunteers will reach out to elderly beneficiaries through friendly phone calls to ensure their information is up to date and to understand their interests in upcoming programmes. Your engagement helps us better serve the elderly and tailor programmes that support their well‑being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound phone calls to elderly beneficiaries.
  • Verify and update beneficiary information accurately.
  • Engage seniors in conversations to understand their interests, needs, and preferred activities.
  • Share brief information about upcoming programmes and record their interest in participation.
  • Escalate any concerns or follow-up needs to the staff-in-charge.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to organisational guidelines.
