SPF Band Performer (Vocalist)

Application:

  1. To apply, interested volunteers may write to us at SPF_Volunteers@spf.gov.sg.
  2. To ensure a smooth and efficient application process, we kindly request that you use the volunteer role that you are applying for in your email subject title. 
  3. In your email, please kindly include the following information:
    a) Your full name (as reflected in your NRIC); 
    b) Date of Birth;
    c) Nationality (Singapore Citizen or Singapore PR); 
    d) Contact details (phone number and address); 
    e) Relevant qualifications and experience (if applicable to the volunteer role you are applying for); and 
    f) Any additional information you believe is important for us to consider. 

Role: 
The volunteers should be able to:
1) Perform with the SPF Band, or any of its ensemble as a solo vocalist or in a group
2) Vocalist

  • Pop
  • Musical
  • Opera
  • Choir

Volunteering Period:
1) Ad hoc request
2) Able to commit to a minimum of 5-days (weekday and/or weekend) for rehearsals and performance at multiple locations

Expertise:
1) Possess competency as a vocalist familiar/au-fait with a performance setup. 
2) Have experiences performing in public settings.

Other Requirements: 
1) Candidates must pass an audition by Director of Music.
2) Fluent in English
3) Able to work in a team

Police Training Command c/o Home Team Academy
501, Old Choa Chu Kang Road,

Performance Venue (not limited to):
1. Government and MHA buildings and institutions
2. Concert Halls and theatres (Esplanade, Victoria Concert Hall, Star Theatre, Marina Bay Sands etc)
3. Public performance spaces (Botanic Gardens, Vivocity Amphitheatre etc)
4. Hotels, corporate venues, and hospitals
