About Education Resource Development Volunteer (Defence Collective Singapore)

Education Resource Development Volunteers work closely with the Programmes & Education team to co-create learning materials for teachers and students, including resources to be used before and after visits to the Singapore Discovery Centre. You will translate defence-related content into engaging age-appropriate materials that align with MOE curriculum objectives and current educational practices. This opportunity is suitable for individuals with relevant training or qualifications in education, particularly those who are NIE-trained (PGDE or Diploma/Degree in Education) with prior teaching experience in MOE schools. Volunteers must be proficient with design and content development tools such as Adobe Suite, Canva, or similar platforms, and able to translate complex defence-related content into clear, engaging, and student-friendly materials. Selected volunteers will attend an onboarding briefing to familiarise themselves with the organisation, expectations, and scope of work.
