About MDC Show Production Support Volunteer

Show Production Support Volunteers contribute to the Music and Drama Company's live productions by providing experienced technical and operational support across selected show functions, working alongside the production team to ensure the smooth and professional execution of performances, events, and engagements in a live-show environment. This opportunity is suitable for individuals with professional-level experience in one or more areas of live production, including audio systems, video operations, camera handling, graphics systems, stage coordination, show execution, and live-stream technologies. Volunteers should be familiar with the pace, discipline, and technical demands of live productions, and be able to work effectively as part of a production team with minimal supervision. Preference will be given to individuals who bring hands-on operational experience and can manage responsibilities reliably in real-time show conditions. As these are operational support roles for actual productions, they are not intended for hobbyists, casual helpers, or individuals seeking foundational training. Volunteers must be 25 to 40 years old, and an interview is required as part of the application process. Scheme is open to Singaporeans, new citizens and permanent residents.
