About Defence Stories: Veterans as Storytelling Ambassadors (Singapore Air Force Museum)

Storytelling Ambassador at Singapore Air Force Museum share lived experiences in service with visitors and students. As part of the programme, you will conduct storytelling sessions in museum spaces and public programmes, offering first-hand perspectives on National Service, operational duties, leadership, and resilience. This opportunity is suitable for SAF veterans (retired regulars, NSmen, and former NSFs) who are passionate about mentoring and inspiring others. Volunteers should be comfortable with public speaking or open to developing their confidence through training. Through your stories, you will help bring authenticity to Singapore’s defence narrative and inspire younger generations better to understand the values behind service and commitment to defence.
