About SDE Event Support Volunteer

Event Support Volunteers take on a range of on-ground duties including registration, ushering, crowd management, guest assistance, wayfinding, queue coordination, and event setup support. You may also support interactive activities, distribute event materials, and provide general assistance to ensure that programmes run smoothly and efficiently. Through your contributions, you play a key role in delivering positive and memorable experiences for audiences and guests. This opportunity is suitable for individuals and NSmen who enjoy working in dynamic environments, interacting with people, and contributing as part of a team to deliver meaningful event experiences. Preference will be given to individuals who have experience in events, customer service, hospitality, or public engagement. Briefings and on-ground guidance will be provided prior to deployment to ensure volunteers are well-prepared for their roles. Volunteers must be between18 to 50 years old, and an interview is required as part of the application process. Scheme is open to Singaporeans, new citizens and permanent residents.
