The HeritageCares team at the National Heritage Board is proud to present Over the Moon: A Mid-Autumn Festival Virtual Craft Workshop this September!
In this programme, volunteers will have the opportunity to engage with children from lesser served backgrounds by guiding them through craft activities.
In celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival, participants will enjoy a 45-minute session of storytelling and craft activities related to the various myths and legends surrounding this festival. In the process, the programme aims to cultivate a deeper appreciation and understanding of this cultural event.
Note:
This is an online programme hosted on Zoom. By signing up for this opportunity, you acknowledge that you have the following required.
1. Registered Zoom account
2. Working audio and video on a laptop (mobile devices/iPads will unfortunately undermine the experience for all!)
3. Zoom is updated to latest version for virtual backgrounds to be activated

Craft Facilitator
As a craft facilitator, you will be expected to facilitate one of two craft activities for participants. This includes providing easy-to-follow instructions and a step-by-step demonstration.
Craft activity 1: Create paper lanterns using coloured origami sheets and 1 piece of A4 drawing paper, crayons, scissors and glue.
Craft activity 2: Fold a 2D origami rabbit using coloured origami sheets
