This opportunity is a youth-led initiative as part of Youth Corps Leaders Programme.
Project Shine partners with Rainbow Centre's social activity club, Young Adult Activities! (YAA!), to engage with youths with special needs meaningfully through biweekly sessions focusing on arts, sports and the environment.By engaging them in stimulating activities that foster teamwork and exposing them to the bigger things in life around them for empowerment, we hope to ultimately reduce social isolation. We, Team Starlight, believe that our youths have the potential to express themselves creatively and to shine brightly!
Volunteer Befrienders
For An Amazing ARTventure!, we will be conducting 5 different sessions:
Session 1 – Online Volunteer Orientation with Rainbow Centre (15 April 2023)
Session 2 – Physical Volunteer Orientation & Training with Project Shine (16 April 2023)
Session 3 – Engagement Session: Origami (13 May 2023)
Session 4 – Engagement Session: Clay Modelling (27 May 2023)
Session 5 – Engagement Session: Clay Modelling Part 2 (10 Jun 2023)
All engagement sessions will be held at Tzu Chi Humanistic Youth Centre other than the Volunteer Orientation & Training which will be held at The Red Box.
