Volunteer Befriender

As a volunteer befriender, you will be engaging the hawkers to find out more about their stories and distribute the masks to them.

1) Orientation and Training (Online) (Compulsory)

• 20 November (Saturday), 9.30am-11.30pm
• Further details will be shared after you've been accepted for the volunteering opportunity
• All volunteers have to be trained before deployment 

2) Engagement session (Physical)

• 20 November (Saturday), 1.30pm-4.30pm
• Redhill Food Centre
  85 Redhill Ln, Singapore 150085
• Volunteers will be physically engaging the hawkers in pairs in accordance to safe management measures
• Please select BOTH shifts when applying for this opportunity. Only those who are able to commit to both Orientation & Training and the Engagement session will be accepted.
  
  
• For this volunteering opportunity, volunteers are requested to be fully vaccinated to take part to ensure the safety of everyone in the event. Please note that you may be required to show proof of vaccination before deployment and you are only considered fully vaccinated if your 2nd dose was taken 2 weeks before the volunteering date. If you are not fully vaccinated before the event date, please do not apply for this opportunity.
