** Volunteers will be required to board the mark boat to perform the duty assigned **
Team Nila Volunteers performing the role of a Mark Boat Assistant will be required for the following tasks:
1) Prepare all the equipment on the boat
2) Assisting to lay the mark(s)
3) Monitor the sailors safety on the water
4) Return all equipment back to the race control each day
5) Any other assigned duties
Note:
1) Attire - Team Nila Shirt with bermudas/long tights and covered shoes.
* First time volunteers without the Team Nila tee will be issued one when you report for duty.
2) Transportation Arrangement - There will be 2-way shuttle bus provided from Bedok MRT station (Exit A).
- 8:45am sharp from Bedok MRT station (Exit A) to National Sailing Centre (NSC)
- 6:30pm sharp from National Sailing Centre (NSC) to Bedok MRT station
3)Volunteers will need to be 18 years old & above, physically fit/active, able to swim w/life jacket, love outdoor activities, no seasick, able to work under rain or shine and has good teamwork spirit.
4) Meal Arrangement - lunch will be provided.
- You can bring along some snacks to bring onboard the boat.
5) Shift Timing is subjected to the competition schedule and weather conditions.
