#amPowered Mentoring Programme
By MENDAKI

ABOUT
  • Over the past five years, our dedicated mentors from the #amPowered programme have cultivated a vibrant mentoring culture that empowers youth through guidance, support, and resources. This nurturing environment helps mentees manage both academics and personal life, motivate them to remain in school, progress to the next level and subsequently graduate from school. All this while ensuring they build strong networks and make meaningful connections.

#amPowered programme is a class based mentoring programmedesigned to guide students in reaching their aspirations through uncovering their strengths and unlocking their full potential.

We are also part of Mentoring SG’s network in the national mentoring movement!

What our current mentors and mentees have to say

“It was a blessing to know Dr Gowtham as my mentor. He restored hope in me and encouraged me to works towards my dreams.”
 - Muhammad Firdaus Abdul Jalil, Mentee #amPowered@ITE, ITE College East

“I decided to become a mentor as I wanted to positively influence the youth of today. Despite my busy schedule, I wanted to give back. A transformative moment in my mentorship journey was when I went on a trip to a music jamming studio with three of my mentees. To me, mentoring is a two-way relationship, and they’ve taught me about grit, perseverance, and patience in life.”
- Nur Syazwan Syamsuddin, Mentor #amPowered@ITE
