Volunteer Befriender
As a Volunteer Befriender, you will be offering IN-PERSON support, encouragement, and companionship to a child in their learning journey. This can involve activities such as guiding them on learning activities, playing games, or simply chatting and listening.
Your goal is to provide a positive and supportive presence in the life of the child you are befriending. You will be helping to improve the child's social skills, self-esteem, and overall well-being.
Requirements (Please read before applying)
- Volunteers are required to be FULLY VACCINATED.
- Shortlisted volunteers will be required to also sign up as volunteers with MSF and clear a security screening process to determine their suitability to be a child befriender. Please note that the screening process will take about 1 month. If you have any concerns, please feel free to approach us.
- Volunteers are required to commit to an orientation and training workshop and be available for all befriending sessions. (Dates indicated below)

Please note:
- Orientation and Training may be conducted at a different location.
- Shortlisted volunteers will be notified between 31/05/23 to 01/06/23.
- Accepted volunteers will receive a confirmation email by 20/06/23.
