ABOUT

  • The CPR+AED Provider Course consists of both elements of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and is accredited by The Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC)

    COURSE OBJECTIVE

    At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
    • Understand cardiac arrest
    • Understand the causes of cardiac arrest
    • Identify the risk factors and symptoms of a heart attack
    • Recognise the importance of a strong link in the “Chain of Survival”
    • Demonstrate competency in performing effective and quality CPR
    • Demonstrate competency in the safe use of AED

Introduction
Demonstration of CPR and use of AED
CPR Skills (Practice)
Use of AED (Practice)

2. Mode of Assessment:
Theory Test
Practical Test on administrating CPR and use of AED

3.Certification Obtained and Conferred by:
Upon passing both components, candidates will be issued with the CPR+AED Certificate (valid for 2 years).
