Volunteer Befriender
As a volunteer befriender for youths aged 13-16, your role involves building a supportive and positive relationship with these young individuals while guiding them through a creative journey.You’ll meet regularly with the youths to provide companionship and mentorship as they design and create crafts. Your support includes helping them explore their creativity, fostering their confidence, and assisting them with crafting projects.This process culminates in preparing for and participating in a finale networking event, where their crafts will be showcased and sold.
There will also be an online chit-chat session for us to get to understand you better! Please indicate your availability by selecting all that applies. Further communication will be done via email by the organising committee :).
Orientation & Training: 24 November 2024, 2 pm to 5 pm at The Red Box. (COMPULSORY)
Sessions: 29 November 2024 & 6 December 2024, 1 pm to 5 pm at Calvary Community Care.
*Do note that volunteers must be available for O&T and both sessions.
