HealthStart is a community-based programme that aims to improve the health and wellbeing of seniors by improving their health literacy and lifestyle via the adoption of digital technology.
1) Teams of youth volunteers will be trained to serve as health and digital coaches to nudge seniors towards adopting a healthier lifestyle.
2) Youth leaders will aid in facilitating group meetings and group dynamics. Meetings with seniors will be done under the supervision of volunteer healthcare professionals.
This programme is brought to you by Singapore General Hospital, Youth Corps Singapore and TriGen.

Join the HealthStart Programme as a Health and Digital Coach (non-Healthcare Volunteers) or a Youth Leader! Embark on an exciting journey to enhance senior health and well-being through the promotion of healthier lifestyles and the utilisation of digital technology.
Gain greater insights to the health and community care sector, be equipped with skills to befriend seniors, learn health and digital coaching skills to nudge seniors towards a healthier lifestyle and be mentored by TriGen@SGH healthcare volunteers!
These are the compulsory milestones for the programme (April to July 2025).
