Volunteer Befriender for 'Y' Photography
As a Volunteer Befriender, you will be empowered to create a positive experience for a group of individuals with special needs ranging from Down-Syndrome to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) through a series of workshops and activities. The program aims to provide clients with a platform for self expression whilst simultaneously picking up employable skills. Observational skills are also honed for Clients as they are encouraged to find the beauty in the everyday. Furthermore, it acts as a time for both the clients and their caregivers to unwind and relax.
