Roles & Responsibilities: (Actual role will be allocated by event organiser on the day itself).
1) Registration (4pax) - assisting with identity verification and attendance marking for participants and team officials, checking completion of waiver and indemnity forms, and managing the distribution of team wristbands.
2) Crowd Control / Ushering (4pax)- managing crowd control and overseeing on-site dressings to ensure they are properly positioned and do not pose any safety hazards. Assist Game Supervisors whenever needed
3) Surveyor (4pax) - encouraging both participants and spectators to complete the program survey, 100 plus cans will be given out as incentives for completing the survey, Survey questionnaire and QR code will be provided. (*Only required on dates: 14, 15, 16, 21, 22 Mar 2026.)
4) Scoring Table (6 pax) - To assist the officials to find and call out the teams for the upcoming matches
5) Any other duties assigned
Note:
- Volunteers will be added into a WhatsApp group by the organsier.
- Volunteer briefing will be done on site when you report for duty.
- Shift timings are subjected to changes depending on competition schedule.
- Bring along your own water bottle for hydration. No bottled water will be issued as we work towards a greener community. Water point will be available.
- Pack light as there is no secured and dedicated storage space.
- Attire: Team Nila t-shirt with pants/bermudas and sports shoes.
For New Volunteers:
New volunteers must read the guide/FAQs on go.gov.sg/tshirt-for-new-tn and collect their Team Nila lion t-shirt from 9 Sep 2024 onwards, at the appointed distributor before their first volunteering shift.
- Meal Arrangement: Meals will be provided.
