** Volunteers are required to know how to swim and wear Personal Floatation Device (Life Jacket). Volunteers will be deployed onto the pontoon or board the boat to perform the duty assigned. **
You will be assigned role such as (role will be assigned by IC on actual day):
1) Race Official Assistant - to position themselves near the water's edge, on docks, or on boats during the race (must wear PFD/life jackets)
2) Any other roles assigned
Note:
- Upon successful registration, you will be invited to join a WhatsApp group for further coordination with the organiser.
- There will be a virtual briefing a week before the event. More details will be shared in the WhatsApp group.
- Attire: Team Nila shirt, long pants/bermuda and sport shoes.
For New Volunteers:
New volunteers must read the guide/FAQs on go.gov.sg/tshirt-for-new-tn and collect their Team Nila lion t-shirt from 9 Sep 2024 onwards, at the appointed distributor before their first volunteering shift.
- Meal Arrangement: Lunch will be provided by the organiser
- Volunteers are advised to travel light and bring your own water bottle to refill water.
- Shift timings are subjected to changes depending on competition schedule.
