School's out, fun's in! Coding Games for Kids is back again this November!
Join us to enrich yourself and to make school holidays meaningful for primary school children through the interactive online coding game, codeSpark.
We are looking for volunteers who are interested to take on the role of a Volunteer Coordinator (VC), who will be empowered to oversee a group of Volunteer Facilitators, creating a positive volunteering experience for them. Training will be provided!
No coding experience/ knowledge is required.

Volunteer Coordinator

As a Volunteer Coordinator (VC), you will be empowered to lead and facilitate a group of Volunteer Facilitators to prepare them for their engagement session with the children.*No coding experience/ knowledge is required!*Please ensure your commitment to the following: 1 VC Briefing, at least 1 O&T session and any 2 actual sessions (Please refer to the table below for the Dates)1. Volunteer Coordinator Briefing – Physical (Mandatory)All Volunteer Coordinators are required to attend the compulsory briefing on 12 Nov 2022 (Sat), 9am to 12pm. You will get to learn online facilitation and different feedback techniques! Please refer to the confirmation email which would be sent to you for more details.
2. Orientation & Training (O&T) – Online (Zoom)Volunteer Coordinators will be empowered to lead and facilitate a group of up to 8 Volunteer Facilitators during one of the training segments in the O&T. 3. Actual Sessions – Online (Zoom)Volunteer Coordinators will take care of up to 6 Volunteer Facilitators during the actual sessions. VCs will also be involved in the learning and development of their Volunteer Facilitators by overseeing the facilitators with children and providing feedback and debrief at the end of the session for the Facilitators' learning and growth.You are welcomed and encouraged to sign up for more than 2 actual sessions throughout the CGFK period.
