Team Nila volunteers are required to assist the event organizer with the following duties: (duties will be assign on the day itself)
1) Event Hall Spectator Services - to support Spectator Services Team Lead on managing spectators within the event hall, to assist spectators on seating, general ushering and crowd control.
2) Ticketing Ushers - to ensure all spectators who enter the event hall has wrist tag on, crowd control at event hall entrance.
3) Venue Services - to support Venue Ops Team on ensuring only accreditated personnel enter the various zones, to assist in the Field of Play.
4) Hospitality - to ensure that the meals are ready and set-up.
5) Any other duties required
Note:
1) You will be added into a WhatsApp group chat upon registration and more details will be disseminated there.
2) Attire: Team Nila shirt with dark long pants / jeans and sports shoes.
For New Volunteers:
New volunteers must read the guide/FAQs on go.gov.sg/tshirt-for-new-tn and collect their Team Nila lion t-shirt from 9 Sep 2024 onwards, at the appointed distributor before their first volunteering shift.
3) Meal arrangement: Lunch provided for AM shift / Dinner provided for PM shift
4) Bring along your water bottle to refill water.
5) Travel light: Do not bring valuables and travel light. There are no lockers for storage
6) Shift timings are subjected to changes depending on competition schedule.
