Team Nila volunteers are required to assist in (actual duty will only be assigned when you report for duty):
1) Accreditation Desk - Assist in the information desks for general inquiries and athlete services, and assist with athlete accreditation procedures.
2) Athlete Zone Crew - Assist with the control access to athlete zones through accreditation checks and guide athletes to designated back-of-house areas.
3) Athlete Entitlement Zone - Provide crowd control support at the entitlement zone while assisting with athlete entitlement administration
4) Field-of-Play Zone - Ensure the field of play remains debris-free, escort authorised personnel onto the field, and sanitise equipment as required.
5) Partners Activation - Control crowds while promoting partner activation participation and assisting partners with operational tasks.
6) Any other duties that may be required in the areas above.
Note:
- Upon successful registration, you will be invited to join a WhatsApp group for further coordination with the organiser.
- There will be a virtual briefing on 28 November (Friday) evening. More details will be shared in the WhatsApp group.
- Attire: Team Nila shirt, long black/dark pants/jeans and sport shoes.
For New Volunteers:
New volunteers must read the guide/FAQs on go.gov.sg/tshirt-for-new-tn and collect their Team Nila lion t-shirt from 9 Sep 2024 onwards, at the appointed distributor before their first volunteering shift.
- Meal Arrangement: Will be shared in the WhatsApp group
- Volunteers are advised to travel light and bring your own water bottle to refill water.
- Shift timings are subjected to changes depending on competition schedule.
