Garden Bird Watch April 2024

Garden Bird Watch will take place between 6 April (Saturday) to 14 April (Sunday) 2024.
Registration closes on 20 March 2024 (Wednesday) for new volunteers (that require training), and 24 March 2024 (Sunday) for experienced volunteers (that do not require training).
Signing Up
To register, you would need an account with Volunteer.gov.sg. Please fill up all your information in your profile page (especially full name, email and contact number) for identification purposes.
New Volunteers
New volunteers to Garden Bird Watch will need to undergo a compulsory online module (self-guided) and an on-site training on either 23 or 24 March morning (Saturday or Sunday) in order to run the Garden Bird Watch independently. Please choose the new volunteer role below based on the date and time slot of the on-site practical training that you can attend.
If you are a New Garden Bird Watch volunteer, sign up for 1 New Volunteer slot (based on your preferred date and time of the on-site practical training). There are 4 slots available, based on first come first served basis.
If you are an Experienced Garden Bird Watch volunteer, sign up for the experienced Volunteer slot.
Signing up as a Group
To sign up as a Group (of maximum 5 pax), please think and input a same, unique Group Code in the opportunity question 'Group Code' when prompted. (e.g. GardenBirdWatch123) for all members in your group that are registering for Garden Bird Watch. We will group you together backend.

Signing up for this experienced volunteer role (below) means that you are an experienced Garden Bird Watch volunteer (have participated in Garden Bird Watch before - attended training, ran survey and submitted results at least once before).
The online module (self-guided) and other notes will be provided as refresher when you sign up. Should you like to attend the on-site practical training as a refresher, please sign up for this role and send an email to CIN@Nparks.gov.sg with the subject title '[GBW April 2024] Refresher Training Request'
To sign up as a group with your friends/family/colleagues, do input the same unique Group Code in your registration.
*please ignore the date and time listed for actual survey as it is a substitute date for volunteer hour allocation. Volunteering hours are not given for training.
