As a Volunteer Befriender (VB), you would be befriending seniors through physio-related activities and getting to know them better through this 6-session programme held at Moral Home.

Roles of a VB include:

1) Befriending the seniors

2) Conducting physio-related activities

3) Interacting and chatting with the seniors during short breaks

No prior experience/training is required. All volunteers must attend a mandatory Orientation & Training (O&T) Session on 8 June 2024, Saturday, 9am to 1pm.

Kindly ensure your commitment for this regular service programme as per the following before you register:

1) To commit to the mandatory O&T session on 8 Jun 2024.

2) All 6 volunteering sessions in June and July.

As a Volunteer Coordinator (VC), you would be leading and managing the 20 over Volunteer Befrienders (VBs) for the YOLDEN Programme to ensure they have a positive volunteering experience. 

Roles of a VC include:

1) Lead, coordinate, engage and connect with the VBs, including conducting volunteer briefing and debrief 

2) Conduct the physio-related activities/exercises and other engagement activities 

3) Being the bridge to build bonds among VBs and the seniors 

4) Administration e.g. attendance taking of VBs, following up with VBs

Prior volunteering experiences with YOLDEN Programme is required.
