ABOUT
    • The sheltered waiting area at Little India Bus Terminal will be transformed into Singapore's newest pickleball hub, featuring eight brand-new courts. This is the first time a bus facility is being retrofitted for sport activities in Singapore.

      Join us to witness the launch of the ActiveSG Courts @ Farrer Park with ActiveSG Jalan Besar Sport Centre team!

      Team Nila will be supporting their event operations.

(1) Team Nila Volunteer

*** Volunteers with knowledge of how to play pickleball are preferred ***

Team Nila volunteers will be required to assist the Sport Centre Staff with the following duties:

1) Facilitators

2) Time-keeping

3) Pickleball Sport Try-out

4) Logistics

5) Any other duties assigned


Note:

1) You will be added into a WhatsApp group chat upon registration and more details will be disseminated there.

2) Attire: Team Nila tee with bermudas/long pants and sports shoes. 

For New Volunteers:
New volunteers must read the guide/FAQs on go.gov.sg/tshirt-for-new-tn and collect their Team Nila lion t-shirt from 9 Sep 2024 onwards, at the appointed distributor before their first volunteering shift.

3) Meal arrangement: No meals will be provided. 

4) Bring along your water bottle to refill water.

5) Travel light: Do not bring valuables and travel light. There are no lockers for storage

(2) Team Nila Photographer

Team Nila Sport Photographers will be required to take photos of the event and audience interactions. All photos taken will be deposited into our SportSG Archival for necessary usage. 

  • Capture event coverage
  • Capture interactions between attendees.
  • Capture interactions between Guest-of-Honor and attendees.


Remarks: 

(1) Possession of a DSLR or Mirrorless camera with appropriate lenses (wide angel to telephoto) and equipment.

(2) Turnover time for photo - one day, with key shots shared with the organiser within 2 hours after the event.
