Volunteer Befriender
As a Volunteer Befriender, you will be engaging seniors at the Senior Activity Centre to teach them digital skills and to access various apps such as Wireless@SG, Gov.sg, SingPass Mobile, video calling, Zoom etc.
Volunteers are required to commit to:
1) Orientation and Training (Online)
28 November 2020 (Saturday), 9am – 11.30am
Please note:
- This session will be held online. Further details will be shared via email when you have been accepted for the volunteering opportunity.
- Content on how to use the apps and tips on befriending will be shared during this session.
- All volunteers have to be trained before deployment.
2) Four engagement sessions (Physical)
2, 9, 16 & 23 Dec 20 (Wednesdays), 3pm to 5pm

Please note:
- Volunteers will be physically engaging seniors in small groups in accordance to safe management practices.
- Volunteers have to commit to all 4 engagement sessions.
Please select ALL shifts when applying for this opportunity. Volunteers who are able to commit to the Orientation & Training session and 4 engagement sessions will be accepted into the programme.
