Volunteer
Volunteers will be required to do a weekly check-in with the households of isolated seniors that they have been tagged to.
These check-ins are free and easy and can be done during their free time. These check-ins will last for a period of 12 weeks, with at least one check-in weekly. The last weekly check-in will take place in the 4 July - 10 July week.*
Prior to the engagement sessions, volunteers must attend the following training sessions:
20 Apr 2000-2200: Virtual Welcome Tea Session on Zoom
23 OR 24 Apr, 0900-1200: Physical Walk the Ground Session @ Toa Payoh
During shift selection, you must select the 20 Apr shift, 23 OR 24 APR shift and the 25/4 till 31/7 shift for successful registration. Upon successful registration, Zoom details will be sent to your email. Volunteers will not be required to go down for any more sessions after 10 July though the shift ends on 31 July.
*Volunteer hours will be accredited at the end of the 12-week volunteering opportunity.
