As a Volunteer Coordinator(VC), you will be managing a team of Volunteer Befrienders (VB), as well as the operations of the programme. You will be helping to manage attendance, conduct icebreakers and facilitation between the VBs. You will co-lead the mass group activities together with the life skills coach.
Your goal is to support and guide the VBs to have a positive and meaningful experience and to ensure the smooth operation of the programme.
Requirements:
1. Volunteers are required to be fully vaccinated
2. Shortlisted volunteers will be required to commit to an information session and Orientation and training workshop as well as be available for all befriending sessions.
3. VCs will be required to have experience in leadership and facilitation skills and had prior volunteering experiences.
Commitment Dates:
There are 2 compulsory sessions that you will be required to join.
1. Information session on
23 June 2023, 7PM-9PMThis information session is to get to know more about TUH and their residents. This is so that you understand the profile of the residents and can seek to understand more about adults with mild intellectual disabilities.
2. Orientation and Training (O&T) on
30 June, 7PM-9PMThis O&T session is to equip you with the skills and knowledge of how to interact with adults with mild intellectual disabilities as well as get to understand the environment in the hostel to better prepare you for the volunteering sessions.

Do note that there are no sessions on the first Tuesday of every month due to the scheduled activities of TUH.
