School's out, fun's in! Coding Games for Kids is back again this June!Join us to enrich yourself and make school holidays meaningful for primary school children through the interactive online coding game, codeSpark. Volunteers will be guiding students in a physical session at Big Heart Student Care Centre @ Qihua Primary School in Woodlands. No coding experience/ knowledge is required.If you have any inquiries, feel free to reach out to us at YouthCorps_Programmes@nyc.gov.sg.This is a Youth Corps Singapore bite-sized volunteering opportunity.
Volunteer Befriender
As a Befriender, you will be taking on the role of keeping children engaged through coding games while making learning fun for them! Befrienders would also have to ensure a safe space for children while facilitating their learning.
*No coding experience/ knowledge is required!*
Commitment:
1. All Befrienders are required to attend Orientation & Training (O&T) followed by the Actual Session on 15 June 2023.
2. Befrienders will be paired with children participants during the actual session for coding games and activities.
Please note that volunteers are required to report to Big Heart Student Care Centre from 1.45pm to 2pm so that the session may commence on time.
