Anugerah MENDAKI Formal Event Support
By MENDAKI

ABOUT
  • Anugerah MENDAKI was introduced in 1982 to encourage and recognise students who have achieved exceptional academic results and non-academic fields as well as first-class honours from prestigious universities

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

    • Assist Attendees: Greet and guide attendees, including students and parents, as they arrive at the event venue. Provide directions, answer basic questions and assist in locating designated areas.

    • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the event staff and fellow volunteers to ensure effective coordination. Follow instructions from the event organisers and assist in any required tasks to maintain the event's orderliness.

    • Dress Code Compliance: As this is a formal event with distinguished guests, including ministers as Guests of Honor (GOH), all volunteers must strictly adhere to the formal dress code provided by the event organisers. Volunteers who do not comply with the dress code will not be permitted to participate in the event.

    • Professional Conduct: Maintain a professional demeanor at all times. Volunteers are representatives of the event and should treat all attendees with courtesy and respect.

    • Kindly note, volunteers are encouraged to attend rehearsal on 10 Oct 25 (5pm - 9pm) to get familiar with the event flow.

    Requirements:

    • Age 18 and above
    • No experience required—just a big heart and a willingness to help!
    • Dress Code: Must dress in accordance with the formal dress code specified by the event organisers. This typically includes appropriate formal attire such as long sleeve, long pants, knee length dresses and covered shoes.
    • Communication Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential for assisting attendees and interacting with event staff.

By volunteering, you consent to the sharing of your information with MENDAKI and agree to be registered as a MENDAKI volunteer. MENDAKI may contact you with updates on future volunteer opportunities.
