Big Brother, Big Sister 7.0 (BBBS 7.0) is back!
BBBS is a regular series of Saturdates where youth volunteers like yourselves will befriend children with and without special needs. Similar to previous rounds, BBBS aims to raise awareness of special needs, foster interactions between children of all abilities, as well as provide respite for caregivers. For this run, BBBS 7.0 will be reaching out to clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Cerebral Palsy, and from the Deaf community. These Saturdates will take place from Sep to Oct 2024. Activities include arts and crafts, obstacle courses, shopping simulation and many more.
Volunteers who can attend all sessions will be prioritised. The commitment level is as follows:
1. Mandatory Orientation & Training (14 Sep 2024, 3.00pm - 5.00pm @ TRB)
2. 4 Playdates (21 Sep, 28 Sep, 5 Oct, 19 Oct 2024, 9.30am - 12.30pm)
3. Playdate venues: TBC
