Volunteer Befriender

Your role as a Volunteer Befriender is to:

• Befriend the seniors through the activities
• Engage in conversations with the seniors
• Encourage active participation of the seniors during activities
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the seniors

Requirements (Please read before applying)

• Age range: 17-35 years
• Able to commit minimally for 2 sessions
• Able to attend an online briefing
  
• Befriending experience is a bonus
• Preferable for volunteers to be proficient in Mandarin

Volunteer Coordinator

Your role as a Volunteer Coordinator (VC) includes:

• Curating and designing a curriculum of activities to help with the holistic development of seniors
• Executing and ensuring smooth operations of weekly sessions
• Support the staff in managing a group of volunteers during the weekly sessions
• Leading briefings and debriefing sessions
• Ensuring the safety and well-being of the seniors and volunteers

Requirements: (Please read before applying)

• Age range: 17 - 35 years old
• Attend a minimum of 5 sessions (you are welcome to sign up for more sessions!)
• Attend an onsite VC Skills Training
• Facilitation experience is a bonus
• Preferably able to converse in Mandarin (basic conversational skills)

Commitment Dates: (Kindly ensure you are able to attend the Skills Training and minimally 5 sessions)
