Team Nila Event Crew
Team Nila volunteers are required to assist in the followings (role will be assigned on the day itself):
1) Climbing Holds Logistics - ensuring climbing holds are well kept during and after setting period. Holds are organised, bolts, screws, impact drivers and ladders are collected and kept securely. Assisting in carrying and hoisting up big holds to the wall together with other setters.
2) Climbing Area Crew - assisting safety crew in ensuring safety mattresses are always well placed and secured. Assist wall crew during wall clean up, checking on wrist bands, ensuring spectators are with spectator area etc.
3) Challenge/Recovery Area Crew - allocate timeslots to the public for activities, facilitate bouldering wall tryouts, assist with leaderboard scoring, assist with challenges etc.
4) Finals Events Crew - whistlen blower to signal stop/start of climbing finals routes. Timer to ensure climbers are able to have a fair and equal climbing duration. Making sure only finalists may enter isolation area and assisting with prize presentation.
5) Any other duties required.
Note:
Attire: Team Nila tee with bermudas/long pants and sport shoes. First time volunteer without the tee will be issued one when you report for duty.
Meal: Lunch/dinner is provided by the event organiser. Bring your own water bottle to refill water.
The event is held OUTDOOR. Volunteers are expected to be physically active, able to carry equipment and can move about while on duty.
