ABOUT

  • Beyond Singapore Cluster is excited to announce the debut of our inaugural event, Speaker Space!

     

    Speaker Space is a platform for youths to engage with industry experts regarding the UN Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs). 

     

    About our speakers:

    • Ms Mrinalini Venkatachalam is the board President of ONE (Singapore), a locally registered charity raising awareness and taking concrete actions to reduce poverty. She is also a Regional Director at WEConnect International, a global non-profit organisation promoting female entrepreneurship, and has been awarded numerous accolades over the years, including being recognised as one of the ‘Great Women of Our Time’ by Singapore Women's Weekly and Cleo Singapore.
    • Ms Hillary Lim leads the training department at Trampolene, a non-profit social innovation enterprise aimed at empowering marginalised individuals and underserved communities to achieve independent and dignified living through recognising, valuing, and nurturing, unique strengths and talents. Trampolene provides multiple benefits including, building social and life skills, integrating pathways from school to work, and providing mentorship opportunities.

As a participant, you can look forward to: 

  •  Engaging in meaningful conversations on promoting sustainable and inclusive economic growth and reducing inequality
  • Connecting with thought leaders and industry experts and learning about local and international efforts to promote UNSDGs 8 and 10 
  • Collaborating with like-minded youths on actionable strategies through interactive case studies

2. Organiser

This role is not open for public application - Please do not sign up. 

Organiser will be planning, coordinating and executing the volunteer opportunity. Liaise with the overseas community partner and volunteers for the project.
