Roles and Responsibilities :
1) Back-of-house
- Crowd Control: Working alongside with security to make sure the crowd is under control
- Ushers: Ushering the guest to their seating area
- Player Zone: Making sure only players & team officials are in the allocated zone
- Physio booth: Ensure only players are attended for pre-game taping and sports massages.
2) Field-of-play:
- Distribution of drinks to officials and players
- Ensure activities on court operate smoothly according to itinerary
- Pre-game warm-up
- Court attendant
- Ball picker
- Prize presentation
- Assist and facilitate fringe activities
3) Scorer (need to have basketball knowledge and operate digital scoring)
Things to note :1) Attire - Team Nila shirt with long pants/jeans and covered shoes. (T-shirt will be issued to first timer volunteer when you report for duty)2) Meal - meal will be provided. Bring along your own water bottle as no bottled water will be provided as we support the sustainability efforts. 3) Travel Light - There will be secured place to store your belongings4) Briefing - There will be a pre-event briefing. You can find the details below. There will be a final briefing conducted on the day of event. Please be on time for reporting. 5) The above is a non-exhaustive list of the tasks that you may be required to assist in. To ensure the smooth running of the event, staff in-charge may delegate additional tasks during the event.
*There will be a virtual briefing on the 23 Dec 2023, 8PM-9PM. Zoom link will be sent 1 day before the briefing date.
