    SPACE is a centre-based programme to introduce children to environmental conservation.

    As a volunteer, you will befriend children and guide them through the learning process, making simple crafts made from recycled materials, and support them in learning about the various environmental trends around the world.

As a Volunteer Befriender (VB) for SPACE, you will serve as guides and befrienders throughout the session with the children. You will assist them in the learning of crafts and various environmental trends around the world.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist children during sessions to facilitate their learning
  • Engage with children in conversations
  • Check in with children on their experiences during the activities

 

The dates are as follows

Date: 26 Dec 2023 (Tues)
Time: 1.30-4.30pm

 

Volunteer befrienders are welcome to sign up for any session shifts according to their flexibility and comfort. Orientation & Training will be conducted on the day of the volunteering session.

  • Age Range: 16 to 35 years old

As Volunteer Coordinators (VC) for SPACE, you will serve as leaders of volunteers throughout the program. Tasks include assisting volunteers in the learning of session plans and guiding them in their engagements with children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and conduct the sessions
  • Support volunteers whenever required
  • Ensure the safety of volunteers and children during the course of programme

Volunteer Coordinators are required to attend a training session.
