Event Volunteers

Volunteer Roles Available:

• Crowd Control: (Swimming Pool)
• As a Crowd Control Volunteer, you will help manage the flow of athletes, parents, coaches, and spectators to ensure a safe, organized, and efficient swim meet environment. You are the friendly face ensuring everyone is in the right place at the right time while maintaining a calm and orderly atmosphere.2

• Marshalling: (Bus Bay and Main Atrium)
• Marshalling: The Marshalling Volunteer plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and timely movement of swimmers to the starting blocks. Volunteers will assist with organizing participants by event and heat, guiding them from the staging area to the pool deck, and maintaining order throughout the meet.

• Information Centre: (Bus Bay and Main Atrium)
• Information Centre: As the face of the event, Information Centre Volunteers play a key role in ensuring smooth communication, providing directions, and offering support to athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators. You will be stationed at a central point to assist with general inquiries and logistical information.

• Medal Distribution: (Swimming Pool)
• Medal Distribution: As a Medal Distribution Volunteer, you will play a key role in ensuring that all young athletes are recognized for their efforts in a smooth, efficient, and celebratory manner. This is a front-facing role that requires attention to detail and a friendly, encouraging demeanor.
