This is for the planning committee of Let's Be Stars 3.0

Programme Coordinator

Looking for a few volunteers to handle programme coordination on the actual day! Scroll down to the next role if you're keen to be a storyteller/Facilitator instead!

Volunteer will be involved in handling the technical aspects of the session as well as the facilitation and introduction of the session. Volunteer will also assist in the overall coordination of the programme.

You will need to attend the following dates and timings:

Time: 10am - 12pm

3. Actual Event Dates

9.30am – 12.30pm (16 – 18 June)

Storyteller/Facilitator (Group 1)

Through this interactive virtual journey, we hope to encapsulate the kindness that bloomed in the face of the COVID-19 adversity, and to encourage active discussion among the younger audiences on altruism during this extraordinary period. If you have what it takes, join us, in imparting values in children through the use of drama and play!

In this journey, volunteers will play different roles to bring the story to life! The roles are: 

1. Town Councillor

In 'The Little Rainbow City', the children will be enrolled as citizens of two colour towns. As the Town Councillor, your role is to be in charge of a town where you will lead small group discussions and facilitate activities for the children!

2. The Sun

The Sun is the main storyteller to share the story of The Little Rainbow City and introduce children to the concept of being a STAR - Strong, Tenacious, Ambitious, Radiant. If you choose this role, you will be interacting with the children in a big group setting!

3. The Queen

The Queen's role is to observe the interactions by the children, pick up main points and provide an overview of her observations at the end of the session as the wise and knowing Queen!

Attendance for the Orientation & Training and Rehearsal is compulsory.
