Yayasan MENDAKI is introducing a new programme, ReadySetLearn Language Explorer (RSL LE), a new parent-child programme focused on language development and shared reading. We are currently seeking facilitators to support this initiative. 

The programme aims to support parents with children aged 0–6 in building early language and literacy skills through shared reading strategies and interactive activities, while also helping parents gain confidence in reading aloud with their children. 

As a facilitator, you will facilitate interactive parent-child literacy sessions, model shared reading strategies (such as tone, pacing, and expression), demonstrate effective read-aloud techniques, guide parents in practising reading strategies during activities, and support engagement across mixed-age groups of children aged 0–6 years. 

If you are comfortable working with mixed-age groups of children aged 0–6 years, able to engage both parents and children simultaneously, and interested in developing skills such as pronunciation, articulation, and expressive reading, we would love to hear from you. 

Your role as a facilitator:

Conduct and engage with both parents and children for 4 sessions over 2 to 3 hours weekly. 

Attend 1 compulsory training and experience On-the-Job training for the actual runs

*Requirements for the role*

1. 18 years old and above

2. Proficiency: Fluent in English language and basic understanding of Malay language

3. Qualifications: GCE O-Level and above
