As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will be leading, managing and supporting volunteer befrienders during the KidsLearn programme to ensure they have a positive volunteering experience. You will be required to conduct briefing, debriefing, facilitate ice breakers and community bonding activities.
Do take note that all the sessions will be conducted PHYSICALLY, we will only subject to conducting it virtually if safe management measures apply.
Additionally, all volunteers have to be FULLY VACCINATED to be accepted into the programme.
Volunteer Coordinators are required to commit to the following sessions:
Round 1 (Compulsory sessions: Session 1 & 8 + at least 3 sessions)
- 17 September (Sat), 9am to 5.30pm - VC/VB Orientation & Training for Round 1 (Physical) (Compulsory)
- Location: The Red Box, 113 Somerset Road Singapore 238165
- 23 September (Fri), 7pm to 10pm - VC Training (Physical) (Compulsory)

- 1 Oct - Session 1 (Compulsory)
- 8 Oct – Session 2
- 15 Oct– Session 3
- 22 Oct – Session 4
- 29 Oct – Session 5
- 5 Nov – Session 6
- 12 Nov – Session 7
- 19 Nov - Session 8 (Compulsory)
- At least 2-4 planning sessions. Date and time to be decided with other VCs after programme starts.

- 7 Jan - Session 1 (Compulsory)

Disclaimer
To ensure safety for the children from ComLink families, all KidsLearn volunteers will be required to also sign up as a volunteer with MSF and clear a security screening process for suitability to be a child befriender. Do note that the screening process will take 1 month, and we will not be able to accept volunteers who are unable to clear the security screening process.
