Bringing together the environment and youth volunteerism, Youth Corps Singapore is partnering with PAssionWaVe to help youths gain more perspectives on our environment, learn the importance of environmental protection and the impact of litter to our waterways. Through this shared environmental experience, it will help youth to engender human-nature relationship and take more ownership in helping to raise awareness on water and environmental issues.

Volunteer
As a volunteer, you will get the chance to learn the importance of environmental protection and the impact of litter on our waterways through a kayak and clean activity at Jurong Lake. Volunteers are required to commit to:1) Orientation and Training (Online)8 May 2021 (Saturday), 9am to 12.30pm Please note:This session will be held online. Further details will be shared via email when you have been accepted for the volunteering opportunity. Content related to Jurong Lake and the waterways environment including safety briefings will be shared during this session.All volunteers will need to attend this Orientation and Training to be eligible to attend the actual session. 2) Any 1 of the sessions provided (Physical)(Please pick only 1 session) Location: PAssion WaVe @ Jurong Lake Gardens100 Yuan Ching Road Singapore 618662 Please note: Volunteers will be physically kayaking on Jurong Lake to pick litter in small groups. A reflection exercise will be performed after.
