Volunteer Befriender
As a Volunteer Befriender (VB), you will assist the SSO to conduct the Needs Assessment Survey. This will be done through a one to one visit with the families.
Commitment:
1. Orientation & Training (O&T) - Online (Zoom)
6 June (Monday), 2.30pm to 4pm
Please note:
- Session will be conducted online. Further details will be shared via email when you have been accepted for the volunteering opportunity.
- All volunteers have to be trained before deployment.
2. At least two engagement session (physical) - Volunteers may choose more than two
Saturday Mornings
25 June, 30 July: 9.30am-1.30pm
Saturday Afternoons
11 June, 16 and 23 July, 6 August: 2pm-6pm
Monday Mornings
13 June: 9.30am-1.30pm

Volunteers will have to commit to 1 O&T (compulsory) and at least 2 shift.
For this volunteering opportunity, volunteers are requested to be fully vaccinated to take part to ensure the safety of everyone in the event. Please note that you may be required to show proof of vaccination before deployment and you are only considered fully vaccinated if your 2nd dose was taken 2 weeks before the volunteering date. If you are not fully vaccinated before the event date, please do not apply for this opportunity.
