School's out, fun's in! Coding Games For Kids is back again this November! Join us to enrich yourself and make school holidays meaningful for primary school children through the interactive online coding game, codeSpark. As a Volunteer Coordinator (VC), you will be empowered to lead and facilitate a group of Volunteer Befrienders to prepare them for their engagement session with the children.

We welcome polytechnic/ university students and above to take on this role!

*No coding experience/ knowledge is required!*

Please ensure your commitment to the following: 
1 VC Briefing + 1 O&T + any 2 other Tues-Thurs Sessions
(Please refer to the table below for the dates)

1. Volunteer Coordinator Briefing – Physical (Mandatory)
All Volunteer Coordinators are required to attend the compulsory briefing on 15 Nov 2023 (Wed), 7pm to 10pm or 1 Dec (Fri),7pm to 10pm. You will get to familiarise yourself with codeSpark, learn online facilitation as well as feedback techniques! Please refer to the confirmation email which would be sent to you for more details. 

** Note that if you want to join us as a VC for week 1 sessions, you would need to join us on the 15 Nov 2023 (Wed), 7pm to 10pm. 

2. Orientation & Training (O&T) – Online (Zoom)
Volunteer Coordinators will be empowered to lead and facilitate a group of up to 8 Volunteer Befrienders during one of the training segments in the O&T. 

3. Actual Sessions – Online (Zoom)
Volunteer Coordinators will take care of up to 8 Volunteer Befrienders during the actual sessions. VCs will also be involved in the learning and development of their Volunteer Befrienders by overseeing the facilitators with children and providing feedback and debrief at the end of the session for the Befrienders' learning and growth.

You are welcome and encouraged to sign up for more than 2 actual sessions throughout the CGFK period!
